At The Giving Exchange, we believe in the power of women to transform communities and create lasting change. That's why we're thrilled to launch our first annual "Support Her Empowerment" (SHE) Campaign during Women's History Month. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by the end of March. All donations will go towards projects that advocate for women and gender equality.
Our Mission:
For over a decade, The Giving Exchange has been dedicated to partnering with under-resourced communities in East Africa to implement self-sustaining projects that empower women and girls. From providing access to education and vocational training to supporting entrepreneurship and economic independence, our initiatives aim to break the cycle of poverty and create opportunities for a brighter future.
The "SHE" Campaign:
Supporting Her Empowerment is essential for reducing poverty and fostering inclusive economic growth, and female entrepreneurs contribute significantly to job creation and economic growth. Globally, women are twice as likely as men to report experiencing discrimination based on their sex. Investing in women's economic opportunities has the potential to lift entire communities out of poverty. Supporting women-owned businesses not only benefits individual women but also has positive spillover effects on local and national economies.
This March, we invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting the incredible women and girls in our partner communities. Through the SHE Campaign, we're raising funds to expand our impact and launch new projects that will uplift and empower even more women across East Africa.
