In the heart of East Africa, where the sun sets over vast landscapes and communities thrive, The Giving Exchange is weaving a tapestry of hope and impact. This holiday season, our campaign, "The Gift That Keeps On Giving," shines a light on four transformative projects, each illuminating a unique aspect of our mission.
We aim to secure $25,000 in donations from GivingTuesday, November 28th, through the end of the year on December 31st. Achieving this target will not only fulfill our fundraising goals for 2023 but also pave the way for the successful launch of new income-generating, self-sustaining projects in the upcoming year.
Are you looking for a gift that will keep on giving?
The Giving Exchange has a meaningful gift for that special someone who doesn't need more material things.
We are happy to announce our new gift certificates. These certificates are magical tickets to spreading joy and making a positive impact. When you purchase one, you're not just giving a present; you're spreading hope and initiating lasting change around the world.
Simply donate at any one of the five suggested amounts above:
- $1,000 = a milking machine
- $500 = one dairy cow
- $250 = feed five families
- $125 = one pregnant pig
- $25 = twenty-five broiler chicks
You will then receive a certificate that you can give as a gift, OR we are happy to e-mail the certificate directly to your recipient.
These are the four projects we are proudly spotlighting due to their success and impact thus far this year:
Sons of Manasseh Chicken Coop: At the Sons of Manasseh orphanage, laughter echoes in the air as children find joy in the company of their feathered friends. Our Chicken Coop project not only provides a sustainable source of nutrition but also teaches valuable lessons of responsibility and care to the young souls who call this place home.
Njoo Dada Embroidery and Leather-Making Machines: Venture into the rolling hills of Dagoretti, Kenya, where the talented teenage mothers of Njoo Dada Trust are crafting a legacy of empowerment. Your contribution fuels their productivity and entrepreneurship, providing embroidery and leather-making machines, the tools that will turn dreams into reality. Through their skilled hands, a story of resilience, creativity, and economic independence unfolds.
Karambi Group for People with Disabilities Black Soldier Fly Larvae Animal Feed Production: In the embrace of Karambi, a community thrives, breaking barriers and embracing diversity. Our Black Soldier Fly Larvae Animal Feed Production project not only reduces waste but also empowers individuals with disabilities. Together, we are fostering inclusivity and sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and the community.
Divine Mercy Milking and Chopping Machine: In the gentle hills of Divine Mercy Home, children dream of a future filled with possibilities. With your support, we're introducing modern milking and chopping machines, ensuring these youngsters have the resources to grow up healthy and strong. Every drop of milk and every meal chopped is a step towards a brighter tomorrow.
This season, join us in giving the gift that truly keeps on giving. Your support doesn't just fund projects; it nurtures dreams, fosters resilience, and creates a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. Together, let's illuminate the world with the spirit of generosity and change.
