The communities we have been supporting for years in Kenya are greatly suffering from the effects of COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown.
Most families living in rural areas are out of work and have no money to buy food for their children. Our local partners have reported that some young ones have even lost their lives, not to the virus, but to starvation.
TGE can't stand by and do nothing. Although we usually focus on self-sustaining initiatives, this urgent need has compelled us to respond immediately by helping these families buy food!
$25 = food for 2 people for one month
$50 = food for 1 family for one month
$100 = food for 2 families for one month
$250 = food for 5 families for one month
$1000 = food for 20 families for one month
