For decades, a team of retired Indian-American doctors has returned to India to provide free medical care to their homeland’s most isolated communities.
But with the group's core members now in their 80s, the medical mission - and the communities it supports - will be abandoned forever if young volunteer doctors in the community don’t step in to carry on its legacy.
The goal of the documentary is to inspire and motivate a new generation of young doctors and philanthropists into humanitarian service in India.
Funds raised at this stage will be used for post-production crew costs like editing, sound mixing, and an original score.
After the film is complete and on the film festival circuit, TGE plans to continue to support on-the-ground humanitarian projects highlighted in the film like children’s healthcare and educational initiatives.
